The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is very proud to announce the second annual PATROL STROLL on SEPTEMBER 20, 2008.
LOCATION
The Patrol Stroll will be held at the North Carolina State Highway Patrol Training Academy, located at 3318 Old Garner Rd. in Raleigh, NC. (see map by clicking on contact us at the top)
This event will benefit Mothers Against Drunk Drivers
8K COURSE
The 8K (4.97 miles) course is USATF certified. Split times will be provided at each mile mark and the halfway point. There will be 2 hydration stations provided by 9th St. Active Feet.
TIMING & SCORING
Timing and scoring will be done by Jim Young & Associates using the Champion Chip system.
EXPO'S
There will be many exhibits and vendors present at this years Patrol Stroll. The National Gaurd will have a rock climbing wall as well as an obstacal course set up for all to enjoy.
TEAM COMPETITION
This year we will be offering awards to the top 3 teams in the 8K. A team consists of 3 or more people that work for the same law enforcement agency or military branch.
The winning TROOP team will receive THE PATROL STROLL championship trophy and bragging rights for a year.
ENTRY REGISTRATION
The entry fee for the 8K is $20 and $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk for ALL entries postmarked before Sept. 12. The entry fee will be $25 for the 8K entry there after.

2006 PATROL STROLL PICS
Food & Beverages
Food and beverages will be provided to all runners and spectators. We will offer subs, bagels, dougnuts, fruits, and cookies. For beverages we will offer pepsi products, coffee, and water. Sports drinks will also be provided.
T-SHIRTS
The Patrol Stroll will offer a CUSTOM, FULL COLOR T-shirt this year. T-shirts will be included in your registration for the first 300 runners, so sign up early.
COURSE MAP
Awards
Custom unique trophies will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 15-under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65 +.
Awards will also be awarded to the top 3 male and female Troopers, and to the oldest M + F finishers.
